"Hand over plastic - plant a tree!" - a new eco-initiative from Irkutskaya mineral water

We care about nature’s beauty and contribute to its preservation. Irkutsk hosts the special eco-initiative from Irkutskaya mineral medicinal table water. Just as we did last year, we are offering Irkutsk residents the possibility to exchange empty plastic bottles of Irkutskaya mineral water for prizes and gifts. This year, in addition to stylish T-shirts, belt bags, panama hats and pop-sockets, participants will receive seedlings of real Christmas trees. The seedling can be planted anywhere that it can be taken care of until the tree gains strength.

“We strive to preserve the natural environment of Lake Baikal. This includes employee trips to Olkhon for clean-ups and annual plastic collection campaigns. We participate in environmental education, promote the values of health, safety, love for the hometown, and care for the purity and beauty of nature. We rely on our own experience — we long since introduced into our production process a system of separating waste to be sent for recycling”, says Ruslan Kokovin, the General Director of the BAIKALSEA Company.

Under the terms of the initiative, to qualify for any gift, you need to accumulate empty PET Irkutskya water bottles (of course, we accept other bottles, but not for gift redemption :) ) and bring them to the exchange. It is running in Irkutsk every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until August 20, at the fountain, next to the Trud Sports Palace.

As usual, detailed terms of the Irkutskaya eco-initiative are available on the website promo.irkvoda.ru and, of course, all the information about the initiative is published on the Irkutskaya mineral water profile on Instagram @irkytskaya.
